  • 2015
    • August - U.S. Gas & Electric was recognized in
      J.D. Power Retail Electric Provider Residential Customer Satisfaction Study
      with top rankings awarded to five companies under the USG&E umbrella.

      New Jersey Gas & Electric (NJG&E) was presented with the “Award Recipient”
      for placing among the best in most of the segments in the New Jersey market,
      followed by Connecticut Gas & Electric (CTG&E), Massachusetts Gas &
      Electric (MAG&E), New York Gas & Electric (NYG&E) and Pennsylvania
      Gas & Electric (PAG&E), which ranked #2, #2, #8 and #14, in
      Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania, respectively. 

    • March - Ohio Gas & Electric (OHG&E) begins supplying electric to customers in the Toledo Edison service area.

    • February - Ohio Gas & Electric (OHG&E) begins supplying electric to customers in the Cleveland Illuminating and Ohio Edison service areas.

    • December - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) honors members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve through participation in the Toys for Tots program to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.

    • August - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the Fastest Growing Private Energy Marketer. This marks the 6th year in a row that USG&E has been featured on the prestigious Inc. magazine list.

    • July - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is recognized as the 18th Best Company to Work For in Florida in the mid-sized company category by Florida Trend magazine.

    • June - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) sponsors the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's 2014 Good to Great Awards.

    • April - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) launches USG&E Solar to provide solar energy to home owners. Visit www.USGandESolar.com for more information.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) sponsors the Walk Now for Autism Speaks held in Doral, FL, raising over $3800 for the cause.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) sponsors the National Energy Marketer's Association Annual Energy Conference in Washington, DC.

    • March - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is recognized as the 6th Best Place to Work in South Florida in the large company category by the South Florida Business Journal.

    • February - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) relocates its corporate headquarters and world-class contact center to Miramar, Florida to improve work efficiency within the organization and enable continued support of job growth in South Florida as the company expands its business.

  • 2013
    • December - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) honors members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve through participation in the Toys for Tots program to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.

    • November - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) raises over $8,500 to support the Philippines Relief effort for victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

    • September - Illinois Gas & Electric (ILG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Ameren Illinois service area. 

    • Connecticut Gas & Electric, Inc. (CTG&E) sponsors the National Energy Marketers Association's Connecticut Policy Leadership Roundtable.

    • August - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is ranked by Inc. Magazine as the 88th Fastest-Growing Company in the Energy Industry and the 11th Fastest-Growing Private Energy Marketer. This marks the 5th year in a row that USG&E has been ranked on the prestigious Inc. Magazine list.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) announces plans to relocate both the corporate office in North Miami Beach, Florida and the contact center in Doral, Florida to a new facility in Miramar, Florida located at 3700 Lakeside Drive. The lease includes approximately 50,000 square feet and naming rights to the building.

    • July - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is recognized as the 7th Best Company to Work For in Florida by Florida Trend magazine.

      The South Florida Business Journal recognizes U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) as the 30th largest privately held company in South Florida.

      Ohio Gas & Electric (OHG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Duke Energy service area.

    • June - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is honored as the bronze winner of the 2013 American Business Awards Company of the Year by the Stevie Awards.

    • April - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) receives the 2013 Business of the Year award from the South Florida Business Journal.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) partners with the Veteran Tech Brigade to assist in their efforts to provide meaningful jobs to military veterans.

    • March - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) sponsors the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Miami program, Bully-Free-0-Five, a cause devoted to educating teenagers to help stop bullying in Miami-Dade County public schools.

      Kentucky Gas & Electric (KYG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the Columbia of Kentucky service area.

    • February - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is recognized as the 6th Best Place to Work in South Florida in the large company category by the South Florida Business Journal.

      Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the People's Natural Gas service area.

      Maryland Gas & Electric (MDG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the Washington Gas Light service area.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) gives back to the local community through participating in the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami's Blitz Build program to help construct 10 homes for the Habitat Landings community.

  • 2012
    • December - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) honors members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve through participation in the Toys for Tots program to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.

    • November - Florida Governor Rick Scott visits U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) to congratulate the company for its job creation efforts in Florida. A press conference was held by Governor Scott with USG&E and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce to highlight USG&E's expansion efforts.

    • October - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is ranked by Inc. Magazine as the 67th Fastest-Growing Company in the Energy Industry and the 6th Fastest-Growing Private Energy Marketer. This marks the 4th year in a row that USG&E has been ranked on the prestigious Inc. Magazine list.

      USG&E provides assistance to employees affected by Hurricane Sandy by purchasing gasoline generators in South Florida and driving the equipment to employees' homes in New York and New Jersey.

      Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Penn Power service areas.

    • September - Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Metropolitan Edison Company and Penelec service areas.

    • August - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is recognized as the 35th Best Companies to Work For in Florida by Florida Trend magazine.

      Maryland Gas & Electric (MDG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative service area.

    • July - The South Florida Business Journal recognizes U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) as the 26th largest privately held company in South Florida.

      Maryland Gas & Electric (MDG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Delmarva Power and Pepco Holdings service area.

      Massachusetts Gas & Electric (MAG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Nantucket Electric (National Grid) service area.

    • June - Florida Trend magazine ranks U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) as the 105th top private company.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is presented with the “Good to Great” award by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious award spotlights companies that have achieved greatness in their mission and have established themselves as industry leaders from solid to great performance.

    • April - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) recognized as the 2012 Emerging Company of the Year by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) South Florida Chapter.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) announced as a finalist in the 2012 Technology Leaders award by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.

      Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the PPL service area.

      Connecticut Gas & Electric, Inc. (CTG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the United Illuminating service area.

    • March - Massachusetts Gas & Electric (MAG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the WMECo, Mass Electric and NStar service areas.

      Connecticut Gas & Electric, Inc. (CTG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Connecticut Light & Power service area.

    • February - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is recognized as the 8th Best Place to Work in South Florida in the large company category by the South Florida Business Journal.

    • January - Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the PECO service area.

      Maryland Gas & Electric (MDG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the Baltimore Gas & Electric service area.

    • December - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) participates in the Steps for Healing 5K Run/Walk benefitting the Children's Bereavement Center held in North Miami, FL. USG&E raises over $375.00 to assist children and their families in dealing with the loss of a significant loved one.

      Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Duquesne Light Energy service area and Allegheny Energy service area.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) honors members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve through participation in the Toys for Tots program to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.

    • November - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) begins offering service contracts for air conditioning units, water heaters, and natural gas systems to customers in New York and New Jersey through our strategic partnership with Petro.

      Maryland Gas & Electric (MDG&E) begins supplying electricity to the residential customers in the Baltimore Gas & Electric service area.

      Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the UGI Utilities service area.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) launches the Partners in Power program offering affinity partnerships to companies and non-profit organizations interested in providing competitive energy rates to employees, members, and associates.

    • October - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) participates in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event held in Miami, Florida. USG&E raises over $5,776 to assist the foundation with finding a cure for breast cancer.

    • September - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) forms a strategic alliance with Petro, a home heating oil and air conditioning services company. The partnership enables USG&E and Petro to provide additional products and services to customers.

      U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) is ranked by Inc. Magazine as the 35th Fastest-Growing Company in the Energy Industry and the 3rd Fastest-Growing Private Energy Marketer. This marks the 3rd year in a row that USG&E has been ranked on the prestigious Inc. Magazine list.

    • August - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) officially opens its World Class Contact Center in Doral, Florida.

      Maryland Gas & Electric (MDG&E) begins supplying electricity to the commercial customers in the Baltimore Gas & Electric service area.

      Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Pike County Light & Power service area.

      Florida Trend magazine ranks U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. (USG&E) as the 113th top private company.

    • July - Illinois Gas & Electric (ILG&E) begins supplying electricity to the customers in the Commonwealth Edison service area.

    • June - New Jersey Gas & Electric (NJG&E) begins supplying electricity to customers in the Jersey Central Power & Light service area, Atlantic City Electric service area, Rockland County Electric Co. service area, and Public Service Electric & Gas service area.

    • May - New Jersey Gas & Electric (NJG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the Public Service Electric & Gas service area.

    • October - Michigan Gas & Electric (MIG&E) begins supplying natural gas to the customers in the Michigan Gas Utilities service area.

      Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (PAG&E) begins supplying natural gas to the customers in the Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania service area.

      New York Gas & Electric (NYG&E) begins supplying electricity to the customers in the Orange and Rockland service area.

    • September – New Jersey Gas & Electric (NJG&E) begins supplying natural gas to customers in the Public Service Electric and Gas Company service area.
