  • August - U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. is ranked by Inc. Magazine as the 203rd Fastest-Growing Private Company in America and the 9th Fastest-Growing Private Company within the Energy Industry.

    Ohio Gas & Electric ("OHG&E") begins supplying natural gas to customers in the Columbia Gas of Ohio service area.
  • July - Ohio Gas & Electric ("OHG&E") begins supplying natural gas to customers in the Dominion East Ohio service area.

    U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc. acquires Energy Services Providers, Inc. (ESPI), and begins supplying electricity to customers within New York State.
  • June - New Jersey Gas & Electric ("NJG&E") begins supplying natural gas to customers in the New Jersey Natural Gas service area.
